The aviation industry relies heavily on organized labor unions. Based on this week's Bible verses, articles, video and textbook readings, (and other scripture or sources you care to bring in relevant to the topic) address the following issues: 1) briefly explain the Railway Labor Act and how it relates to the airlines; 2) are collective bargaining and labor unions consistent with biblical duties imposed on employees and employers? Is it merely another tool to keep sinful human behavior in check? 3) How should a Christian respond when presented with the prospect of joining a labor union?
