One of the major measures of the quality of service provided by any organization is the speed with which responds to customer complaints. A large family held department store selling furniture and flooring, including carpet, had undergone a major expansion in the past several years. Especially the flooring department had expanded from two installation crews to an installation supervisor, measures and 15 installation crews. A sample of fifty complaints concerning carpet installation was selected during recent year. The data in the file furniture.xls signify the number of days among the receipt of a complaint as well as the resolution of the complaint-
