My quote is "Then the queen was shocked, and turned yellow and green with envy. From that hour, whenever she looked at Snow White, her heart heaved in her breast; she hated the girl so much. And envy and pride grew higher and higher in her heart like a weed, so that she had no peace day or night".
The fairy tale that the quote is from: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" by the Grimm brothers.
Assignment instructions:
In the first paragraph, you will explain the importance of the quote in the fairy tale.
- In the first sentence (topic sentence), you will state the name of the author, the title of the fairy tale, the quote that you have chosen, and the issue that the quote connects to in the tale. If the quote is long, paraphrase or shorten the quote in the topic sentence.
- You will clearly analyze the issue presented within the quote by stating at least three examples from the tale with careful analysis of each example.
- Use transitions to link your ideas and strong verbs to analyze the meaning of the quote.
