Explain the fund-raiser

Assignment:

Most school programs cannot thrive financially without outside help. Therefore, physical education administrators need to find ways to bring in money. For this assignment you will create two fund-raising proposals (be creative!!!!). They must be different. One proposal will go to a corporate sponsor (this must look professional - I encourage you to look at CBU Athletics and their fundraising plans). The second proposal will go to the school community. Include the following in each proposal:

Needs Assessment - Why do you need the money? Did you conduct a survey and find a specific need that is not being met? Explain the specific data you have to show you need the money. Use numbers.

Significance - How will the money be used to meet the needs? Be as specific as you can. What are the goals that will be met with the money?

Scope - Explain the fund-raiser. Who will be involved? What will the roles be for each entity? What are the realistic dollar amounts? Are there different levels?

Stewardship - How will you manage the fund-raiser so everyone benefits? What are some strong fiscal policies or procedures you will use?

How is being a good steward with other people's money reflect Christ-like attributes?

Remember you are presenting two different proposals to two different audiences. Make sure to label each separately - Corporate & Community.

As always, an APA formatted title page is EXPECTED. If you use references (and retrieve information from other sources) then please make sure you cite it and also include a reference page (in APA format).

All written submissions should reflect professionalism in grammar, spelling, writing style/format (one-inch margins, double spaced, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font), include current APA citations when appropriate, an appropriate title page, and be uploaded as .doc or .docx documents.
