Explain the Feasibility Study
This includes writing a report to convince management of the merits of adopting proposed new system. Some features of the study comprise:
- Objectives
- Boundaries
- Constraints
- Description of existing system (including any problems and projected costs)
- Criteria (essential requirements and desirable aspects of proposed system)
- Solution (including development plan and benefit/cost analysis)
If feasibility study is accepted then systems analyst moves to the subsequent stage which is a full analysis of the system.
