PHILOSOPHY: Descrates make this distinction between appearances and reality
In my mind, I experience all these sensations. I see a tree. I see a cat. I see a chair. But how can I make the leap from "I see a tree" to "there is a tree"?
Explain the difference between these two statements ("I see a tree" and "There is a tree")? And how can we know that our experience is actually caused by something that is outside of our minds? (minimum 100 words).
