Agreed. Being able to present your slide show is very important. Sometimes the audience mind will wonder off if you have so much going in your slides. adding designs to every other slide and presenting your slide show is like a conversation. People get bored when you talk too much
2. How about the help built into Powerpoint? Do you find that helpful at all?
PowerPoint and Presentation Skills
I think one of the best tip I found were the 10/20/30 rule and keep it simple. 10/20/30 states that a powerpoint should be no more than ten slides, twenty minutes long, and font no smaller than thirty. This is beneficial in keeping the audiences focus and conveying the point. The other thing is keep it simple, be clear and concise; writing a script and making notes can help. This is important in order to not bog down your point with useless information.
Failure is not always a bad thing. Our most important lessons comes from failure. I have not always been on the right path. I have had some personal issues. The issues lead to me being homeless; my children and I having to live with my sister. I felt like I was on a down hill spiral. The hole just kept getting deeper. I would run off and wouldn't come back for days at a time. I did not have a job. I could not find work. My children was alive and well because of my family. I have an amazing family. My family had all faith in me; where I had little for myself. I finally got my act together and joined church and started on the right path. My children has always been my strength. I admit I lost my way. I am so glade I was able to learn and live threw those struggles. I can help others who have been threw the same thing.
My first day at my first job as a cashier was definitely a failure in my eyes at first. I was still in high school when I started school and I was more than nervous on my first day. I had good customer service and I knew how to count, but the nervousness got the best of me. At the end of my shift after I swept and mopped the floor and made sure the rest rooms were clean, I counted my drawer down. I happened to be twenty dollars under which made look like a theif and a bad first impression, I was embarrassed and wanted to tell my manager I quit. She expressed to me that sometimes shortages happen and just go as slow as I need to at the register until I get the hang of it. I took her advice and even practiced at home with my brother. For the next few days I took my time at the register and my drawer was always correct. It built my confidence and I fell in love with my job. The experience taught me that not everything will come to you easily and practice always helps!
Discussion
After reading Technology Investment Priorities in Australian Mining, 2016, groups of mines coming together to invest in technology in the Australian sector after completing reviews and what it will take to ensure the investments are well in tact with the proper people on board. These investments over the next two years will cover areas of concern UAVs/drones, remote control/machine automation, real-time video training, collision avoidance/proximity detection, and much more. So far, the investors expects to see major increase penetration of the mines. The percentages varies in each area, UAVs/drones are sitting at 41% currently invested, real time video training sits at 46% of investments. The investors understand the trial and era effect that comes with mining and are will to stake their claims making real money in the billions of US dollars. The markets expects to see the biggest increase in technology penetration in the next 2 years as well. My suggestion is, where there is progress, continue moving forward while making changes along the way when needed.

After reading General Anthropology on peer review Teaching Scholarship to Undergraduate Students, it talks about the concept of peer review and the differences of how something is read and interpreted for understanding. Although peer review falls under more than one level such as traditional peer review and the different content of different publications. My suggestion is to continue having the interest toward understanding the different styles of peer review and how they are used in a proper settings. This has become very interesting after reading it and trying to grasp it meanings. So I must continue to better understand the concepts.
