Problem: Explain the significance of realistic fiction to the classroom. So much of children's literature is so unrealistic so when we find literature that offers some insights into the real world we try to find the validity of the work and thus judge its importance. Use the book "Sea, Sand, Me!" by Patricia Hubell as an example of realistic fiction.
