Problem:
There is no good reason to exclude children from the right to vote. Indeed, I believe there is a strong case for lowering the voting age to six'. This is the claim made by Professor of politics at Cambridge University, David Runciman.
Describe and explain relevant evidence related to (a) social constructions of childhood and youth and (b) psychological models of how children and young people's thinking develops, to evaluate the view that, from the age of six years, children have the ability to make decisions about how to vote.
