Instructions: Assume you are an airline security staff person. Your supervisor has requested an assessment of aircraft security. Prepare a paper in which you address the following:
Identify which measures have served to make actual travel on aircraft safer than before September 11, 2001.
Determine if threats in addition to terrorists posed a significant risk. Provide examples to support your findings.
Explain how the threat of terrorism has affected air travel and aircraft safety.
Interpret the level of aircraft security that now exists and the effect on business in general.
Predict the flying public's reaction if another terrorist attack occurs using aircraft.
Support your assessment with at least five scholarly or professional resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
