Problem
As Early Judiasm and Christianity heavily impacted Western European art history, artworks in the Eastern world were also significantly influenced by the religions of the regions. Select one work of architecture or sculpture from South and Southeast Asia to describe how either Buddhist or Hindu ideas are expressed through its decoration, form or iconography. Also find an artwork from China within your readings that expresses a clear connection to Daoism or Confucianism and explain how the philosopy/religion is represented in the artwork. For both regions (S/SE Asia and China) locate an additional artwork (one for each; two in total), not in the textbook, that also uses the corresponding expressions and explain.
