Problem: Probably one of the longest running legal debates in history surrounds the purpose of the Constitution. Judges are tasked with interpreting this 200-year-old document that is the basis for all the rights and privileges we enjoy every day. Keeping that in mind, respond to the following questions:
What if you had to explain the Constitution as either
- a living document to be interpreted alongside values of the day, or
- a document that is to be read literally as the framers drafted it
