Explain four different outcome depending on presence of call

Problem

A. Reflect on Signal Detection Theory. Come up with your example (i.e., not one discussed in class or elsewhere) where you might need to detect a signal amongst the noise. Using your model, explain the four different outcomes depending on the presence of the call and the observer's response.

B. Briefly describe how any 2 of our sensory organs engage in the transduction process. Include the kind of signal and the types of receptor cells that turn the external signal into neural impulses. Then, explain how your perceptual experience would be different if you could not engage in one of these processes for 24 hours.
