Your company has decided to go global. In doing so, management has announced that it will outsource to China, the manufacturer of some parts currently being made in your department. Consequently, employee layoffs within the next 2 months will ensue. What are some ethical issues that emanate from this outsourcing decision? As a supervisor, you know that one of the employees who will lose his job confided to you that his wife is pregnant and will not know what to do to support his family.
