Explain constitution guarantees citizens the right to trial

Assignment task:

The 6th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizens the right to trial by an impartial jury of their peers.  Jury selection thus becomes a time of choosing jurors in favor of your case and dismissing those biased toward your opponent, Read the fact pattern "in action juror selection" and answer questions 1 and 2 as to your recommendation of jurors impaneled and jurors excused. Be specific as to challenges for cause and peremptory challenges. Answer all questions.

Defense - you said you would exclude Leon, Jane, and Cynthia for peremptory challenges and

Prosecution - you said you would exclude Jose, Cynthia, and Jane on peremptory challenges.

Can you explain the reason you would exclude each of them?

You selected Jose; I actually excused Jose due to his mental health. As the defense attorney, would you be concerned regarding Jose's ability to focus and not stress during the trial? I selected Clint over Jose. I know Clint worked in sex crimes, but I would hope he would be able to remain impartial despite working years in law enforcement. For the prosecution, I selected Jane over Francine. My concern regarding Francine is although she didn't have interactions with the defendant, she saw children coming in and out of his house. She could have formed an opinion regarding the defendant.
