Explain collaboration with peers and senior leaders


In the years that I haven been managing people, I have had the opportunity to manage and to also direct and influence. I can tell you that there is a place and time for everything and the one thing that they all have in common is that they actually all mean that we collaborate. Senior leaders really look for collaboration rather than being told what to do and this means that we have to work on building relationships and ensure those relationships are strong enough so that collaboration can be well received. Class, what has been your experience in collaborating with peers and senior leaders?
