Design an activity to help the student
Develop one or more of the four skills: listening, speaking, reading, or writing.
Write a 1.5 to 2 pg summary of the activity and explain why this activity would be appropriate for the student's level of English proficiency.
Your summary should include a description of the student (including WIDA level), the ESOL strategies that you will use to implement this activity, any accommodations and ESOL strategies that you will provide for your student, and how this activity promotes interaction and collaboration in the classroom.
Please explain how you will make a cultural connection with the student. Explain how you will collaborate with other professionals at the school.
Explain how you will engage the parents.
At the end, add a personal reflection of how your learning in this course will help you design and deliver meaningful and effective instruction to your ELLs.
