Explain and discuss the role of arbitration and arbitrators in the settlement of workplace grievances (e.g. discipline, termination). How are they different from Policy grievances? What do arbitrators do to reach fair and effective and lasting decisions? What questions do they need to ask and answer to come to their decisions? What processes lead to arbitration decisions?
