Problem
i. Explain and compare the three types of fisheries: Commercial (Industrial), Commercial (Small-scale) and Recreational.
ii. Provide specific examples of each fishery from three regions of the world's oceans, as well as the species harvested and product created or marketed (food, bait, industrial/natural by-products, etc.). Include the Latin and common/commercial/local names of each species.
iii. Distinguish between wild capture and aquaculture species; and speculate how feasible it might be for aquaculture to sustain each of the three classes of fisheries- Commercial (Industrial), Commercial (Small-scale), and Recreational.
iv. Identify fluctuations in annual harvests relating to over-fishing; weather, climate and/or environmental issues.
v. Evaluate the impact of each fishery on the total world harvest each year. (Percent of world catch).
