Experimental Design
Design and conduct an experiment based on one of the topic below. Use either a student sample or people you know (family/friends). Develop your own measures for each variable.
You will turn in a report describing the experiment. You will include:
1. A hypothesis.
2. Methodology
- Explain whether you used different types of groups (control, experimental, placebo)
- Did you use a pretest?
- How you controlled for extraneous variables (variables that can influence the results)
- Describe which experimental research design you used.
3. The results.
4. Implications of the results
This report is due Monday June 19.
