All people need medical care. Stigma, bias, and systematic inequalities in health care settings can hinder individuals from receiving the support and care every patient deserves. In addition, public policies can contribute to social environments, worsening or alleviating the stigma of being a sexual minority.
For this assignment, you will examine the health care laws and policies addressing the LGBTQ+ community.
