Stakeholder engagement and advocacy involves government agencies, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, healthcare providers, community leaders, and affected populations and stakeholders. This group's engagement opens the door and allows diverse stakeholders to collaborate, leverage resources, and amplify their collective voice to influence decision-makers and this will increase the legitimacy and acceptance of policies. Advocacy involves improving health outcomes and addressing health disparities in diverse populations. Advocacy efforts also include advocating for legislation to increase access to healthcare, implementing PH interventions to prevent disease, promoting healthy behaviors, or addressing social determinants of health such as poverty, education, and housing.
