Everyone has experienced using a water fountain that produces a bit too much water pressure. In fact, the drinking fountain on the 3rd floor of Dana Hall at the south end of the hallway shoots a pretty good jet of water. Using a water bottle with a known volume (such as a typical 1-liter Nalgene bottle), a) determine the volume flow rate for this particular water fountain. Make additional physical measurements on the water fountain to estimate: b) the water velocity, and c) the pressure at the exit nozzle.
