As Information Technology leaders, we are tasked with identifying and analyzing emerging technologies that will result in a disruptive influence on our organization's ability to compete and to successfully accomplish our mission. To help support and guide our organization and teams during these exciting times, we need to continuously explore emerging organizational leadership trends and communicate the benefits of the changes with stakeholders. The ability of Information Technology leaders to lead change and to learn from others who are in the process of changing, will become an essential quality for helping the organization successfully benefit from emerging technology advancements.

While this may not be an area where technicians have typically thrived, it is an area that leaders embrace to successfully achieve the mission and vision of the organization and the Information Technology teams. We can explore best practices in principle and process in the various business areas such as human resources, accounting, and marketing and especially information technology that one year may be embracing processes such as system development lifecycles and the next exploring agile development teams. The principles and processes are how we interpret and implement the various emerging technology trends.

INTRODUCTION
Throughout your professional career you will need to seek out ways to integrate emerging trends in organizational leadership, principles and processes, and technologies in the field of IT to further the mission/vision of your department or organization. You will read three books, one from each list of publications provided. The lists are organized by topic: organizational leadership, principles and processes, and technologies. When viewed together, the trends found in emerging organizational leadership, principles and processes, and technologies allow an information technology professional the ability to perform analysis of their organization's ability to maximize their current technology and their readiness to embrace beneficial and necessary change in the area of current and emerging technology.
For this task you will reflect on your own experiences while reading each book you have selected related to corresponding topics. You will then write three critical analyses, one for each book you have selected.
