Let's further the discussion post our lesson regarding accounting software by providing you the opportunity to conduct a little research. Even if you decide to go with an accountant/financial specialist for all of your financial needs, you may still want to have some type of accounting software on hand for yourself. There are a number of products on the market focused on small businesses. In this discussion you:
• Select 3-4 accounting software programs that may be appropriate for your venture. Be sure to select at least one free software program to discuss.
• Evaluate the features, ease of use, and financial statements generated from each program.
• Select one program that would be appropriate for your venture and discuss why you selected it.
