Problem: Evaluate the effectiveness of the research design of this study. Non experimental research types are not reliant on contextualizing issues or problems within scientific paradigms. A suitable example of a non experimental research design is 'Knowledge, attitude, confidence, and educational needs of palliative care in nurses caring for non-cancer patients: a cross-sectional, descriptive study'. The research study adopted a correlational, descriptive, and cross-sectional design to describe nursing professionals' educational needs, confidence, attitude, and palliative care knowledge when caring for patients with end-stage liver disease, end-stage renal disease, stroke, and congestive heart failure (Kim et al., 2020). Non experimental research designs can describe different healthcare issues without relying on scientific methodologies.
