Fianace Problem
A minimum 20-page (not including cover page, abstract, table of contents, and references) academic research paper. The paper must address a contemporary corporate finance problem and proposed policy solutions. One must demonstrate an understanding of major financial theories, conceptual underpinnings of knowledge areas of corporate finance, and evidence of critical thinking through careful research and critical analysis of the scholarly literature. One must clearly demonstrate high order thinking by going beyond descriptive discussions and must critically compare and contrast, analyze, synthesize and evaluate the assumptions and contributions of major theories, models and conceptual frameworks. Comment on the effectiveness, implication, or possible future development of the research project is appropriate. One must demonstrate the ability to independently research the literature and integrate information from the different sources. Sources may include corporate finance books, book chapters, peer-reviewed theoretical articles etc. The academic research paper should include the basic components of an academic research paper, which requires an introduction section including the identification of a contemporary comparative finance problem, an overview of the problem, background, purpose statement, a literature review section, an analysis section, and a conclusion section.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
