Problem
Evaluate the argument diagram below using the criteria of ARS. Be as thorough as possible. Justify your answers. When you are deciding on the argument's sufficiency, show that you can borrow other concepts from the course (e.g. argument principles, cognitive biases, audience types, etc.) to help you articulate how the argument is strong, weak, can be improved, etc. If you can make a stronger argument, do this. If the argument can't be strengthened, explain why. This question is worth a significant portion of marks - expand your thinking once you get to the sufficiency condition. This is not an essay question; you can use bullet points or short paragraphs.
P 1: Animals raised for meat are treated horribly.
P 2: Animals can experience suffering.
C 1: Animals that are being raised for meat suffer at the hands of humans.
P 3: Humans should not have the right to kill other living things for selfish purposes.
P 4: It's selfish to eat animals.
P 5: Raising animals for meat uses up a part of the world's resources.
P 6: We shouldn't be depleting resources.
M C: People should not eat meat.
