Problem:
Respond to Angellen's post. Ask if she believes in the ethics of CEOs receiving golden parachutes when the CEO fails to bring success and growth to their companies and shareholders. Hi everyone, CEOs often bear the most responsibility for the success and growth of their companies, making critical decisions that impact thousands of employees and stakeholders. Their expertise, experience, and leadership drive the strategic direction and profitability of the organization. The responsibility of the regular worker is pea-sized compared to the responsibility of the CEO. Compensation packages for CEOs often include performance-based incentives, therefore, when the company performs successfully, CEOs get a major pay increase or bonus. People often look at the salary of the CEO without understanding the amount of work that goes into the position. CEOs don't have "days off". Their position is often glamorized due to the luxurious lifestyle they live, but the blood sweat, and tears put in are often overlooked.
