Gloria has been a health educator for many years. The longer she practices, the clearer she becomes about her own limitations and constraints. She has worked for an agency for 15 years that has dealt primarily with Planned Parenthood, including contraceptive and birth options.
Her years of experience have taught her many lessons, and she has come to believe that there is no single option that is best for everyone. Gloria's agency is going through some changes.
Guidelines from the funding source and a philosophical shift in the administration have begun to affect the nature of Gloria's practice. She has been told that no discussion regarding abortion as an option for anyone is permissible.
