If a pressure drop of 20 kPa is measured, estimate the velocity at the wall at section 2 just downstream of the contraction. (Actually, a boundary layer would develop, and the velocity calculated at the wall would be the velocity at the edge of the boundary layer; see the inset of Fig. 3.10.)
