Q1. George broke into Sarah's house one night while Sarah was not home, intending to steal her jewelry, valued at $80,000. Once inside the house, however, George heard a large dog barking and ran away empty-handed.
Q2. Carl appears on television shows touting a cure for AIDS that he knows is fraudulent, because it has no medical validity. He asks viewers to send money to make the "cure" widely available, and donations pour into local television stations to be forwarded to Carl.
Q3. Rick would like a permit to sell alcoholic beverages in his Sushi Bar & Grill, but his application for a permit was denied because his business did not qualify for the permit under state regulations. Rick then contacted Sandy, who works for the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, and offered her $3,000 to "overlook" the state regulations and issue him a permit.
Q4. Della, an employee of Fabulous Fashionista, a clothing store, changes the trademarks on clothing that comes into the store to be sold to consumers. Della knows that this will enable the store to sell the clothing for higher prices.
Q5. Fred, a successful stockbroker, gives a lecture about investing. Some of the persons who attend the lecture form Gain & Profit, an investment club, and ask Fred to advise them. Gain & Profit allows Fred to set up an account for the club with a brokerage firm and gives Fred control of the account, but does not authorize Fred to withdraw funds for his own personal use. Fred uses the money in the Gain & Profit account to make his car payment.
Q6. Tom takes a box containing a new computer from the loading dock of a warehouse. Tom puts the box in his car, drives home, installs the computer, and keeps it.
