Assignment Task:
A well organised essay with clear thesis on Act II of particles, Simonides notes, "Opinion's but a fool, that makes us scan/ The outward habit by the inward man" it seems certain that Simonides is praising Pericles's inner width which is apparent even though his outer form is ragged and miserable. Although this textual difficulty is probably a result of Pericles flawed state , it is an interesting one because "inward" and "outward" are so often problematic and confused in Shakespeare. Explore the problem of inner and outer, being and seeming, in twelfth night, Pericles and comedy of errors.
