Essay Question: Select one Web 2.0 platform discussed throughout module two and analyzes the extent to which this platform has changed the manner people collaborate and communicate.
The Web 2.0 platforms specifically described in module two are Delicious, blogs, wikis (in general), The Wikipedia, Flickr, Twitter and YouTube. Though, if you have discussed other Web 2.0 platforms throughout the unit in tutorials or on the discussion board, you might select this platform if it is approved by your tutor at least one week before the essay is due.
The word limit for this essay, without the reference list, is 1500 words.
This essay asks you to analyze one of the Web 2.0 platforms that you have been examining in the unit, looking in particular at how that particular platform has changed the manner in which users or participants both collaborate and communicate. Given the context in which you are examining such technologies, it is a good idea to think about how Web 2.0 in general is thought to point out a general shift in the character of online interactions and use such changes to help think about your selected platform.
