- Many assembly jobs are no longer done in this country, they have been shipped offshore.
- Most manual labor jobs are done by immigrants being either legal or otherwise.
- There are productivity and quality gains to be made through good ergonomics.
- There is certainly an opportunity for abuse by employees.
- Damage is to soft tissue which begs the question is there any task or job free of impact on the human body.
- Lastly, is it possible to tell the difference between soft tissue damage as a result of work-related activities verses personal activities like sports or hobbies.
