Developer, a computer programmer, entered into an employment agreement with Dating Website. Developer agreed to develop a mobile app of Dating Website's online dating service that matched or exceeded the quality of Dating Website's competitors. Developer also promised to share her expertise with the team of Dating Website's employees assigned to assist Developer in creating the mobile application. In exchange, Dating Website agreed to share a portion of the application's revenues with Developer even after the employment relationship ended. Developer did little bit of work with Dating Website's employees to develop the mobile application, and gave them a little bit of information to help them finish it, but the work was far inferior in quality to the apps of Dating Website's competitors. Developer was fired for breach of contract, but sued to collect a share of any revenues from any completed product. Will Developer prevail?
