Assignment:
Creating an alternative vision
Building on the analysis you carried out in Part 1, think about the situation that the vision seeks to change, and create your own alternative vision to address the same situation. The inspiration for your vision might come from any of the activities in Part 1, for example:
• putting emphasis on different elements of the Innovation Frame (people, context or material things) in Part 1 (i)
• responding to the representation you analysed in Part 1
• reconsidering elements of the ethics matrix from Part 1.
Bear in mind that you are not being asked to come up with full details of a solution but rather an overarching vision of how things might be.
i. Summarise and illustrate your vision. You should use module concepts to justify how your vision responds to the situation you identified in Part 1 (i). Your answer should include a description and justification of your vision and a representation that clearly communicates your vision.
ii. Conduct research to identify two examples of existing products, services and/or systems that could help you to achieve your vision. You need to describe how your chosen products/services/systems would contribute to achieving your vision and include appropriate illustrations and references to your sources.
