Signature Assignment Title: Managing New Product Development
The focus of this signature assignment is on the management of the project as it evolves from an idea into a physical form. Many companies have become very good at effective NPD, demonstrating that they are able to balance the many factors involved.
Please include as many technical specifics as possible. For examples: Diagrams, flow charts, management designs, analytical metrics, parameters, or other computing-related details need to be included.
Write a 2000+ word APA formatted essay that addresses the elements below surrounding managing the new product development process. Be sure to completely address all the points for each bullet point. There should be six sections, one for each bullet below. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows you to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least three (3) citations in your essay. Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style for the essay.
The Cover page and Reference page do not count towards the 2000 minimum word amount. Please do as instructed.
You will choose a company that has developed or is using innovative technology. Some examples include Apple, Google, Tesla, Facebook, etc.

• Explain the high attrition rate of new products in general and then how this relates to your chosen product or service.
• Be sure to include implementation analysis and short and long-term recommendations.
Using information from the essay, Prepare a PowerPoint presentation that addresses your findings within the essay.
Be sure to include clip art, color, photos, and illustrations.
Additionally, because a good presentation has few words on the slides include a script with the verbiage you would say when presenting; script should be a minimum of 50 words per slide. Please do at least 15 slides with speaker notes on each slide except the title and reference one.
