Effective storytelling involves characters, conflict, and resolution.
Some examples include:
A time you went on a trip that did not go as planned;
A crazy day at work or school;
A time when something did not go as planned or when something unexpected happened; or
A incident when you got injured or embarrassed.
The story must:
Start with a hook...something that grabs our attention.
Short set-up
Lead us up through the conflict to the high point.
Have a resolution the audience can relate to.
Be about a half of a page in length (double spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font)
