Write a brief analysis of communication skills in interacting with those from other cultures and demographics. For example how well do you communicate with co-workers or students who are significantly older than you, or significantly younger? What about disabled, foreign speaking populations, and opposite gender? Discuss with co-workers or family members and ask for their honest evaluation of communication abilities. Be open and consider how to enhance in areas needing it.
Create two tip sheets, one general and one personalized for you, by using your examination of your communication abilities. Each tip sheet will contain of 15 to 20 tips, and tips should be stated in complete sentencing. Write recommendations for future use in using effective communication techniques with varied demographics and dissimilar cultural groups in workplace.
