Assignment Problem: Engineering Drawing Isometric Projections
Problem 1: A hexagonal prism of 30 mm sides and axis 80 mm long is resting on H.P. on its base with two of its lateral faces parallel to the V.P. The prism is cut by an inclined section plane passing through a point situated on the axis and 5 mm below the top surface of the solid and makes 45o with the H.P. Draw the isometric view of the cut solid if the section plane is perpendicular to the V.P.
Problem 2: A brass hollow hemispherical bowl of 20 mm diameter is placed centrally on the top of the frustum of a hexagonal solid pyramid of base dimensions of 20 mm sides and top dimensions of 15 mm sides as shown in the figure below. The height of the frustum is 22 mm. Draw the isometric projection of the above arrangement.
Problem 3: Draw the isometric view of the block whose orthographic views are as shown in the figure below.
