Review the following topic choices. Select one and then write an informative essay draft of around 300-400 words. Save this document as your draft. Then, review your draft and write a substantial revision of that draft that will serve as the final draft of the essay. The revised version should demonstrate the ability to establish and develop a clear thesis, organize ideas, and use and cite sources appropriately.
The final version of the essay must be 600-750 words. It must use and cite at least two sources from the Kaplan library (it may use other reliable sources that are appropriate for academic essays but must avoid sources like Wikipedia or other unreliable internet sources) and must follow a current version of style guidelines (e.g., APA or MLA) for title page, in-text citations, references, and document formatting. Sources must be cited both in text and in the References or Works Cited page. As with any academic essay, the language should be appropriate and avoid first and second person.
