Explain everything that is wrong with how the survey was conducted and then explain how you could fix the methodology to conduct a better survey.
A disgruntled Valencia College employee wanted to conduct a poll to see how happy students were with the college. He decided that an in person survey is the best way to get honest results. The employee also decided he would stand in front of the Lake Nona campus on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-4 for three weeks. He would ask every person who passed him to take part in the survey.
At the end of the three weeks, he had polled 34 people. He asked them all the following questions:
1) Don't you hate Valencia?
2) Everyone I know has problems with the bookstore here. Do you think it's horrible, too?
3) This school is the worst. How would you rate it on a scale from 1-10?
