For your final SLP, prepare a PowerPoint presentation covering the following topics.
Slides 1 and 2: Discuss the anatomy/physiology of the ear. Label the structures involved in hearing and equilibrium. Define the function of each labeled structure in the notes sections.
Slide 3: Include the nerves that innervate the ear to provide hearing, and maintenance of rotational and gravitational equilibrium.Label the pathway from the brain to the ear (through the skull) that this nerve travels
Slides 4 and 5: Discuss the anatomy/physiology of the eye. Label the structures: lens, iris, pupil, ciliary body, cornea, sclera, anterior and posterior chambers, the retina, fovea centralis, and optic disk.
Notes sections: Define the function of each labeled structure, and include the function and location of the vitreous and aqueous humor.
