Read Criminal Intelligence Sharing: A National Plan for Intelligence Led Policing, Law Enforcement Intelligence: A Guide for State, Local, and Tribal Law Enforcement Agencies (both found in this modules resources) and conduct your own research on intelligence led policing. Provide an argument (either for or against) the concept of Intelligence Led Policing (ILP).
As you prepare your position, consider the following:
Does ILP threaten the rights of citizens under the Constitution?
Are there any privacy concerns and if so, are they legitimate?
What role will crime and intelligence analysis play in the overall future of policing?
