Problem: There are many models of personality. Two approaches are the idiographic, which states the belief that human behavior cannot be broken down into its constituent parts and nomothetic; the view that some general dimensions of behavior can be used to describe most people of a general age group. This has been analyzed by many psychoanalysts. Please discuss the "age" classification of people and its contribution to conflict. Are their pre-deceived notions? Does conflict exist between age groups? Do you, as a leader, have to be sure to consider the age gap in conflict resolution?
