On your next trip to WalMart, Target, or similar stores, makes a note of where the items are made in WalMart or Target and please respond to the following questions.
i. Which country (countries) seem to be the most prevalent as the origin of the items you saw?
ii. Do you think workers were paid a fair wage for producing the item(s)?
iii. Is the United States losing garment manufacturing jobs to other countries?
iv. How does this affect workers?
v. Would the cost of the item(s) increase or decrease if workers were paid the value of their labor?
