The last few years in American politics have seen a rise in what are known as “super PACs” or large, private political action committees with the goal of electing a chosen individual or forwarding a specific agenda. With their wide networks and marketing outreach, super PACs can raise millions of dollars for their candidates of choice. While there is a rule against candidates coordinating with super PACs, many people argue that the practice is unfair and is harmful to US politics
