The issue of stem cell research is very polarizing within the profession of nursing and within all levels of government.
The American Nurses Association has announced its support of the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act (January 2007) while other groups such as the Catholic Church and the Right-to-Life Organization are against using stem cells for medical research
1- Do you support the use of stem cells for medical research in the treatment and/or cure of diseases such as Parkinsons Disease, Diabetes, spinal chord injury and Cancer?
2- Is this consistent with your views of the nursing profession?
