Question: Jung believed that in the second half of life, men become more comfortable with their feminine side (grandparenting, for example) and women with their masculine side (more assertive, determined etc.). There is some recent research to suggest some truth to this. Levinson (1996) in his research of both men and woman sees both sexes more comfortable with androgyny as they age. What do people in the class think? Do you see this with people in middle and later adulthood?
